ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Hello my name is Jane and Rocky View Bernedoodles is a family run, kennel-free breeding program. We are located in Bond Head, Ontario. Together with my husband Keith we hand raise our Bernedoodle puppies in our home as our pets. Not only are we passionate about producing amazing puppies, but also educating our future families about how we run a high quality and ethical breeding program.

Rocky View Bernedoodle dogs are beloved family members first and foremost. All of our breeding dogs either live with us or in a guardian home. All of our puppies are lovingly hand raised in our home.

Dams and Sires in our program are thoroughly health tested prior to breeding, including DNA testing for over 230+ genetic health risks, PennHIP and OFA’s.

Our puppies are raised on a combined curriculum heavily influenced by Badass Breeder and Puppy Culture. This includes socialization to adults, children, other dogs and cats as well as a comprehensive program of desensitization to sounds, sights, grooming, handling, and more. Scent introduction is designed to enhance their ability to identify, and react to, specific scents.

We do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) beginning when puppies are just 3 days old up to 16 days old. We raise our puppies to be confident, touch tolerant and resilient. All ENS and ESI curriculum is posted on Instagram so you can see it in action.

We take pride in our program and great care when placing our puppies. We strive at setting all of our puppies up for success when they leave our care to start their new lives and that these puppies will bring a lifetime of joy to their new families.
